Hi I am so sorry for your loss and what you are going through. I can not speak from similar experience, none of my ectopics were treated like this, I had either surgery or methotrexate. Personally I find it unusual that at 6 weeks 4 days they would use the "wait and see" approach, but I am not a doctor and they might have seen something on the scan that indicated it was going to resolve by itself.
You are in a difficult situation, I understand your reluctance to take more time off, but please do what you can to look after yourself and rest - both physically and mentally. Hopefully someone else here will be able to share their own experiences. Take care of yourself.
Sorry I am only picking this up now, hope you are ok? if in doubt, definitely seek help - trust your instincts, if you think something isn't right, don't let anyone fob you off, get another opinion. Do you want to email us to keep in touch? I tend to pick up emails quicker as it's a bit quiet here. it's email@example.com - please let me know you are ok.
I'm so sorry you are being treated like that, it is so frustrating, some of the staff have no compassion, you wonder why they work in a place like that! I agree they should do a scan before they sign you off, just to be 100% there's nothing else. If you are getting pains again, please don't hold off and go to the nearest emergency room. Take care of yourself.
