Hi I had an ep last sept which resulted in a rupture, emergency surgery and removal or left tube. After the surgery it took me a few days to stabilise, but once I was let out I healed, physically, very fast.
We decided to wait till Jan before ttc. Until then i had no pain. Now I am in constant pain. Some days milder than other but 3 out of 4 weeks I have a dull to sharp pain.
I went to the gp last week and was treated with antibiotics for a kidney infection although he said it was mild and he wasn't sure if that was the cause of pain.
My last period was 7 days early and last 9 days with 8 of those very heavy. But today I am beat with the pain.
Part of me thinks it could be happening again(although pg test last week was neg) and part of me thinks it could be all in my head. I didnt know I was pregnant last time and was in severe pain for days before I went to doc as a result I had a lot of internal bleeding.
So I guess I can't trust my body and my head is a mess. Just wondering if anyone experienced pain when ttc or does any of this sound familiar to others
Hi Valerie, you poor thing...does paracetamol or anything ease the pain for you? I remember after having the same surgery I would get pains on the same side again where they removed the tube and also every month when I was ovulating I would feel sharp pains on my sides...I was extremely conscious of what was going on in my body, especially when ttc, but there was nothing wrong with me...and I still know when I'm ovulating now as I feel a twinge. Your little body has been through a lot and it takes time to heal...I also got longer, heavier periods for a while too but they did ease up after a few months. Did you always have bad period pains?
