Thanks Claire yes it's Friday and it feels like years away! The good signs are still there - tiredness, sore boobs, and queasyness if I don't eat often enough, so fingers crossed all is well!

had a horrible night, went to sleep early, then woke in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep for ages. stupid stuff going round in my head. also all of a sudden thinking maybe I'm naive thinking we'll ever get our happy ending, and what if it's all over again. Maybe I'm imagining the symptoms and we'll come crashing down again on Friday. I know I shouldn't be thinking like this and I promised myself I'd enjoy this pregnancy, but after everything that happened to us, I can't help it. I really need to snap out of it. Just feels like everything is on hold til Friday. I need to get a good night's sleep tonight and hopefully I'll feel better again tomorrow.

Sweetie, the way you feel is just so normal. In fact, like it was said to me when I was pregnant, it would have been NOT normal if I was happy with no worries.

Yes it'll be much easier after friday, but don't beat yourself up if you still feel anxious about other milestones, it really is almost unavoidable! and you know you can always give me a call!

big smiley face here! happy to report our bean is measuring exactly 7 weeks and the heart is flickering away! They didn't measure the heartbeat, but it was there, flickering on the screen. OH was so relieved he punched the doc in the shoulder LOL EPU scanning me again on the 18th August and then I have my booking in app in the Rotundaon the 9th September. So relieved!

Very very happy hun! A bit surprising that they didn't measure the heartbeat and a pity you didn't get to hear the most amazing sound this time! Make sure you ask on the 18th!

oh I will, defo. The nurse was still trying to get the hang of the new scanner (with a doc explaining it all to her), they might have forgotten, and to be honest, I was so relieved, I didn't think to ask!
