So here i am 9 wks post surgery and im wondering why my boobs are sore(didnt happen last time)i rush to the chemist to do a test and i get a bfp..we are in shock.obv delighted but super super scared.Judging from my last period.first one after surgery im 5 wks tomorrow.It was exactly 5 wks on my eptopic when i started bleeding and on followed 2 wks of drama till i ended up having surgery to remove baby amd tube..I cant quite believe how lucky we are for it to happen for us so quickly.Im thinking of calling the epu first thing monday morn to insist on an internal scan.Anyone any other advice?

Wow!!! What a news!!! Absolutely call them and ask for an internal scan due to previous ectopic. They tend to be better lately but they may try and fob you off till 7 weeks (way too late of course) so be firm but polite and insist that you are very very worried and could you be scanned this week. Keep us posted!!

Thanks ladies.well i phoned the epu first thing this morning.Was told to come down at 2pm for a scan.Arrived was seen immediatly even though i could see how busy they were.Had internal scan and there right in my uterus where it schould be was my tenny tiny wee pea..omg the relief at that moment was incredible.Back in 3 wks for heartbeat scan.i kniw im not out of the woods but im so delighted its not another eptopic.Roll on the next few wks..Thanks again for the incredible support here..x

Thanks ladies .im 8 wks 3 days now.follow up scan in epu in the morning..feeling excited but very nervous..ive had strong symptoms,sore and massive boobs,nausea,and pure exausted so its looking looKimg good.Ill let you all know how i got on...x

Unfortunatley yest didnt go too well for us..we are in limbo now..basically 3 wks ago when i went for first scan there was a sac in uterus.yest at 8wk 4 dys there was a sac,feotal pole but no heartbeat.My dates cant be off,if even by a wk they should have seen more.back in 7 days for repeat scan.Shock,heartache and anger was all i felt yest.It was just so bleak and with very little information.Having spent the night awake ive decided to book somewhere private today for a scan and get some honest answers.i cant wait till next wed..I just want someone to tell me exactly as it is.Then i know what the plan of action is.Feels like im back in limbo day to day like with the eptopic.I cant handle that again..

Thanks ladies.went to the beacon yest and they confirmed that i have lost the baby.A missed miscarriage..baby only measuring 5/6 wks gestation and i should be 9 wks tom.They were absolutley amazing.said it as it is..just what i needed but still with compassion.She was disgusted that the hosp hadnt giving us much information and said thst particular hosp are so afraid to say anything with all the previous reports on them..Anyway im armed with my private report on my return wed and will insist on a d&c if things dont happen naturally for me.Ive gone into logic mode now and just want it dealt with.We just cant belueve our luck.but with two healthy children already,we feel guilty thinking this..such a confusing time.
